About Amity Early Learning Centre

Amity Early Learning Centre is a 70,000 square foot uniquely designed purpose-built Early Years Education facility. We opened in 2017 and have since grown to become a well-established Early Years Education and Care provider for families with young children.

Our dedicated staff and leaders uphold the highest standards of quality, health and safety, providing a nurturing environment for children from 45 days to 5 years of age. Celebrating children's success and laying a strong foundation for their future educational journey is a fundamental part of our ethos. Our fun, structured and interactive activities foster ambition and independence, enabling students to become lifelong learners.

Babies

We offer a warm, caring and nurturing environment for this age group which is for babies up to the time that they are confident walkers. Our classrooms are equipped with age- appropriate resources and toys for babies to play with and engage in fun activities planned by our dedicated staff. Babies follow the same routines that parents instill at home. With our nurturing programme, development through a wide variety of experiences, opportunities and activities is encouraged and tracked. Daily communication and updates on special moments captured and milestones reached are shared, ensuring that parents are part of key magical moments.

Toddlers

In the toddler age group between 1 to 2 years of age, children are supported to learn, develop skills, grow in self-confidence and build relationships. Sensory play is a toddler’s best friend. Activities include messy play and physical activity which assist in developing fine and gross motor skills, nature play, pretend play, drawing, singing and story time. Our experienced teachers work with children to encourage discovery and a curiosity to explore the newness of everything around them.

Pre-School

Children begins their pre-school journey when they reach 2 to 3 years of age. Our programme includes a number of vital skills, laying the path for transition towards their Foundation Stages. From training to  manage their own personal hygiene to improving their social skills, preschoolers learn important skills while also understanding how to communicate and interact in class.

Foundation Stage 1 (FS1)

The UK Early Years Foundation Framework (EYFS curriculum) gathers further momentum in this stage of a child’s development, while ensuring that learning experience are a fun-filled adventure! Using a play-based learning model, our curriculum enables young learners to practice phonics, focus on correct letter formation and develop confidence while expressing themselves. They begin this part of their journey at 3 to 4 years of age.

Foundation Stage 2 (FS2)

The final stage of learning and most vital one begins when children reache the age of 4 to 5 years old. Our curriculum continues to develop their creativity and critical thinking skills. This is achieved by our highly trained teachers who motivate and nurture students to develop their own ideas, make real world links and think of ways to bring ideas to life! Reading plays an important role during this stage of their development. Preparedness for big school is a key focus for this age group.
