Branch 1 – PSE Development

PSE stands for personal, social and emotional development. It involves helping our children to develop a positive sense of themselves, and others.

This helps them:

  • form positive relationships
  • develop a respect for others
  • develop social skills
  • learn how to manage their feelings
  • understand appropriate behaviour in groups
  • have confidence in their own abilities.

Our aim is to boost their self-confidence, self-awareness and their feelings and behaviour management

Branch 2 – Reading and Writing skills

We will ensure your child will be able to read and understand simple sentences, using phonic knowledge to decode regular words and read them aloud accurately. Your little ones will further demonstrate an understanding of what they read, which includes talking with others about it – hope you are ready.

Our curriculum will also give your child the ability to use their phonic knowledge to write words in ways which match their spoken sounds.

Branch 3 – The art of communication and language

Through communication and language development, your child will experience a rich language environment to develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves and to speak and listen in a range of situations. Children are encouraged to listen and share stories with friends, connect ideas and events to weave stories of their own.

Branch 4 – Problem solving skills

Our children are provided with opportunities to develop and improve their skills in counting, understanding and using numbers, calculating simple addition and subtraction problems; and to describe shapes, spaces, and measures. This is achieved through games, action songs, rhymes and many real-life practical activities, both indoors and outdoors.

Branch 5 – Understanding of the world around them

Through an understanding of the world around them, our children make sense of their physical world and their community with opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places, technology and the environment.

They are taught to investigating by touching, holding, climbing, jumping, finding out how and why things work, testing their own ideas and predicting the outcome.

Branch 6 – From little to big

Growing up can be a challenge when it comes to developing and nurturing important life skills. Our curriculum helps little ones understand the importance of physical activity, and to make healthy choices in relation to food and self-care.

Branch 7 – Expressive arts and design

Expressive arts and design enables children to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials. This further provides opportunities and encouragement for sharing their thoughts, ideas and feelings through a variety of activities such as art, music, movement, dance, role- play, design and technology.

To help our students develop creativity, we provide many creative experiences to nurture curiosity, innovation and imagination. With an environment rich in creative familiarities and resources, our children explore, discover and experiment under the guiding eye of our highly trained teachers.

Children are encouraged to express their own ideas and are given a two-thumbs up for doing so.

Through the exploration of using media and materials, our children sing songs, make music and dance while learning.

They safely use and explore a variety of materials, tools and techniques, gearing their imagination.

Alongside our extensive curricular sessions, we also offer enrichment programmes that include:

  • Languages – Arabic & French
  • Ballet
  • Football
  • Tennis
  • Gymnastics
